„Wortort“ - a five track audioinstallation is based on the spoken Austrian language.
An examination with regards to content is taking place trough speaking and adverts to the language itself, that means it is used as material, alike painting in minimal art.

Concrete linguistic material is disengaged from the contexts in everyday custom of speaking. This allows to formulate complete new informations with the same material. The material attributes of the language are quasi used as literary agents. Per diverse techniques like fragmentation, variation, isolation, sequence and repetation of words and phonemes in verbal speech, language is experimentally used.

Pivotal is, beside the referential aspect of the single words, sillables and phonemes, mainly the enlargement of the spaces of conotation, they are offering.
„Wortort“ intends an opening of realms of experience, where, like under a magnifier, the significance of linguistic fragments abounds.

Merged by five shunted tracks, different perspectives, intentions and mental states come together, with, in and to the spoken. Different voices and sentiments deconstruct a collective origin word and x-ray its potential content of meaning. They are discussing, retorting, reacting or staying separated inside and with at least one single word.

„Wortort“ is based on the origin word „Dichterinnen“ ( femal poets)
This word is repeated endlessly. In each repetition it is deconstructed in another way, without loosing quantity of letters; they neither are changeing their position inside the word.
The textual materiality is not basically changed, but picked to pieces, which are formed up newly along constant literal lines of succession. In this manner the word „ Dichterinnen“ is decomposed and alienated as far as the origin word in its origin sence is hardly identifiable.

Beside the qualitative alteration of the origin textual material, it is mainly the associated diversification of the phonetic structure, which is especially interesting, because in each variation it is offering new possibilities.

Out of fragmentation and recombination of the particular syllables new words and phonemes are arising, building new phrases. The Phonemes are partly short words, which just exist in the spoken language or in comic-strips. But in context of short sentences and in combination with the extracted words this phonemes produce meaning, in honeing and concretizing the predication. Also slang and dialect become important, especially in the isolated phonemes. Speeking itself is essential, because primal in speech, in rhytm and intonation of the syllables, they make sence in our common local usage of language

In a very reduced form the words and phonemes, which are percepted differently because of slowness ( duration, breaks), isolation, reduction, an unaccustomed intonation and permanent repedition, are taken in new conjunctions. New coherences come to existence, new meanings are offered, different layers of intent are dissected. In each variation, each conversion occurs a shift of significance.

Each word includes many words, phrases and contents – in a material way as well as in an associative – depending on the manner of phrasing, the situation in which it is used and the field it turns to or speaks out of. It also depend on the listener, his individual condition, his historical and social background and his own language.

The seven minutes long piece is played in a loop, at which the single tracks move the position to each other, and so bringing up permanently new combinations
